Summer School Programming 

Summer Adventures returns for 2026! Get ready for an exciting summer of learning and laughter.  This summer will feature enrichment opportunities and a new separate sports program.

Summer Adventures and Sports Programs 2026

Summer Adventures is a PUSD teacher-led summer enrichment program serving students Kindergarten through 9th grade. Mornings feature fun and engaging academic enrichment, including reading, math, science, creative writing, and hands-on learning. Afternoons focus on recreation, creative projects, games, and social connection for a balanced full-day experience.


1st-5th Grade Adventures Program: Each morning, students will participate in engaging academic enrichment classes taught by PUSD teachers, featuring subjects like reading, math, science, and creative writing. The afternoons will be filled with recreational activities, including art, sports, and hands-on science projects, rotating through different choices each day. 


Welcome to Kindergarten: A gentle introduction to the school day for incoming Kindergarteners, featuring age-appropriate activities, routines, and play that help children build confidence, familiarity with school, and new friendships.


Welcome to 6th Grade: Designed to support incoming sixth graders as they transition to middle school through team-building activities and confidence-building experiences that introduce schedules, expectations, and the new campus.


● Session 1: June 8-18 2026
● Session 2: June 22 - July 3 2026
● Program Hours: Half Day (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) / Full Day (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

● Extended Care: Available from 8:00-9:00 AM and 3:00-5:00 PM
● Registration Opens: January 29, 2026

Summer Adventures Fees:

  • Half Day: $590 per session
  • Full Day: $1,180 per session
  • Extended Care: $300 per session
  • Junior CIT: $340 per session

Lunch is included for all full-day students.


Junior CIT Program (Grades 7-8)
The Junior CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Program is open to students in grades 7-8 who want to develop leadership skills and assist with activities. Junior CITs can participate in either 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM..

Sports Camps (Grades 1st-8th)
Piedmont Athletics Summer Sports Camps: Basketball and Flag Football for kids entering 1st-8th grade. Led by experienced coaches, these camps focus on skill development, teamwork, and game play in a fun and supportive environment. Perfect for all skill levels, campers will build confidence while staying active this summer!
